Great Quotes

Writers write books because they have read books that inspired them, educated them, entertained them and moved them.

We write books in hopes that what we have created may do for others what others have done for us.

As a mom I first read to my children. Then I found myself writing for my children. Now, I find myself writing for everyone who will read it, because I agree with the writing of  Strickland Gillilan when stating:

“You may have tangible wealth untold.

Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.

Richer than I you can never be –

I had a mother who read to me.”

                                                           — Strickland Gillilan
